It turns out I did actually hurt myself, a torn ligament sheath. Now feeling properly woozy though after injections. Also, I have been advised to poultice with topfen/quark, an Austrian soft cheese because of its magic enzymes.

There goes most of my productivity, but friends and technology will help. Trying out gswype on my fairphone 2.
